Carly - Betrayal Recovery Coach for Women

Carly understands the deep pain of betrayal trauma through her own experience of navigating a 12-year marriage impacted by intimacy betrayal. She spent three years intentionally pursuing healing and recovery through support groups, one-on-one coaching, and a couples recovery program with her husband.

A significant part of Carly’s healing journey came through participating in the Shattered Dreams grief group, where she was able to identify and process years of unresolved grief. Through that experience, what once felt like a difficult life with occasional beautiful moments gradually became a beautiful life that still held difficult moments. Although her marriage ultimately proved irreconcilable, the healing and personal growth she experienced became life-giving and transformative.

Through her recovery journey, Carly gained profound insight into the heartaches of this world, the faithfulness of God, the importance of healthy community, and the value of embracing her unique identity grounded in truth. She completed the Treatment of Sexual Compulsivity and Partner Betrayal Trauma Certificate Program through Light University and practices from a partner-sensitive, trauma-informed approach.

Today, Carly is passionate about helping other women find healing, safety, and hope after betrayal. She supports women in developing healthy boundaries, deepening connection with themselves, God, and others, practicing self-compassion, grieving losses, and living with intention and authenticity.

Carly now leads support groups, including the same Shattered Dreams group that played a pivotal role in her own healing, and provides one-on-one coaching for women navigating betrayal trauma. She is committed to walking alongside women with wisdom, empathy, and compassion as they move toward peace, freedom, and renewed joy.

Derek is now offering coaching services for men of Faith who are sober and seeking deeper work of building faith with Jesus, pursuing their passion or calling in areas of life that will require accountability, action-oriented steps that are rooted in what matters to you and your integrity and values!

Though Derek's vocation background is in Electro-mechanical engineering, after decades of battling various forms of addiction, Derek has said "Yes", to the call of Christ on his life to pursue ministering to men who are ready to surrender to the process of recovery! He has graduated from the school of "hard-knocks" after trying to beat addiction "his way" and stepped into surrender of God's Way, with many years of sobriety, one day at a time! 

He completed an ICF Credentialed Coach Training Program and is now accepting clients who are tired of fighting with the devil with addiction!

Derek comes with many years of sobriety form multiple addictions and has overcome childhood trauma through Faith, therapy, 12 Step Programs, prayer, community with Godly men, and yes, his supportive wife, who let him chose his addiction or his family- the choice was his! 

Thankfully he chose well-And we are living our beauty for ashes in an incredible relationship that seems to get better every year since sobriety!   (Yes, Derek is my husband :)

You are not alone in your struggles if you read Love God, Self, & Others is "the greatest command" and wonder how this is possible when we live in this world of hurt, pain, disappointment, and those we love do not make it easy. 

Most of us also have had a LOT of confusion about what it means "to love". 

And many of my clients have been "loving" in a way that is not Biblical.

• "Loving" others by excusing bad behavior or enabling
• Allowing selves to be "walked over" in the name of "submission"
• Living in shame or self-condemnation (Self-Hatred)
• Hiding from God because of lies that we have to be "good enough" believing his love is conditional and love needs to be earned
• Failing to set Boundaries because of beliefs that Christians need to "Say Yes" to "all things" in the name of Love. 

This list goes on....

In my work, two of the biggest lies, painful, and most destructive lies,  is that God hates divorce MORE then He hates a woman (or man's) heart being broken by chronic sinful, unloving behavior (in which there is unwillingness to do the long-term work necessary for healing and change)..

And secondly, that if there is betrayal, including deceptive pornography (or other addictions), it is the woman's fault....

And while we ALL play a role in the relationships that we are in, If you have been betrayed, it is NOT your fault! 

There is NOTHING that we can do (or not do) to be responsible for another person's sinful, abusive, deceptive, or inappropriate behavior.
